Founder

Piotr D. Galitzine graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.) and received the Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. After graduation he worked for different companies and gained experience on three continents as well as 10 years in Russia. Piotr Galitzine worked as a Chief Representative of Mannesmann AG in Russia and CIS for 8 years. During that period the company has increased its’ annual turnover by four times, reaching DM 7 billion. He was a general director of Galitzine Consulting until December 2004. From January 2005 he is the president for the Russian section of the large European chemical company BASF AG.

General Manager

Dmitri Poliakov is the General Director of Galitzine Consulting. He studied at the St.-Petersburg State University of Economic and Finance, and received a diploma cum laude (2001). He gained international Marketing Experience in the field of marketing, e-business and strategic management consulting, desk and field market research in the companies KPMG Consulting AG (Germany), Decision Management Consulting Center and Vector-PC Ltd. (Russia). He has been living and working in Germany. From February 2002 he worked as a Project Manager of Galitzine Consulting Ltd. From January 2005 he is the General Director of our company.

The Galitzine Team

The Galitzine-team consists of ten internationally experienced members. We work in Russian, and English, German and French as well as other working languages. All members of our team have finished with a masters degree or higher, have additional certificates or PhD. Galitzine Consulting is intentionally a young team in order to adapt as flexible and fast as possible to the changes of today’s business surrounding.
